I'm far from the only expert on boondocking. Most frugal RV travelers have a boondocking story or tip to share. Just like everyone, we learned from others.
We started out cautiously but now we boondock all the time, often in the most remote places, and have never had a real problem but this may not be enough consolation for those who are truly afraid to try it.
Perhaps you're an experienced boondocker. Have you found certain locations that you're afraid to camp? How do you read and follow your gut instincts? Where would you feel safe and what places do you avoid?
Are you new to the idea of boondocking? What are your biggest fears? Hearing boondocking stories from others could either ease your fears or have you running for the nearest RV resort campground with your $30.00 nightly fee in hand.
Have you had some close calls? What helps to make you feel safe when you're boondocking? Do you have a great story or personal experience? Share it!
