Gila monsters and a Ring Tailed Polecat in Arizona

Back in 2009 my wife and I were four wheeling in the desert near Congress AZ. It was getting close to sun set and as we drove our SUV 4X4 around a corner we spotted two BIG Gila Monsters in the road ahead of us. It looked like they were getting ready to mate because it was spring and a beautiful day. I backed up and went around them and as I did so we got a real close look and they where like two feet long, both of them. We congratulated ourselves on having this rare opportunity and on the way out of this area a grey colored animal that looked kind of like a fox ran across the road in front of us. I had a hard time trying to figure out what it could have been. Finally I decided it must have been an albino Ringtailed Pole Cat. But instead of being white it was all grey in color. Keep your camera at the ready in Arizona you never know what might pop up.
