Our insurance policy covers our unit for the full 90 day temp licence period so we do not have the need to rush home.
Do not argue with the Canadian border agents. We had one that was "quite a piece of cake" he told us that our form was filled out wrong and that he could if he wanted confiscate both vehicles, our motorhome and car . He was loud and rude and made sure that we understood the power that he had.
It was hard to hold back knowing that indirectly you are paying that guy's wages but we did put up with the abuse because we knew full well that he would follow through on his promise.
