rving to arizona in march

Q. Is this a good time to go?

A. I presume you're asking about the weather and temperature. Arizona is a big state and the weather will vary according to the altitude.

In the south, especailly the southwest corner, where the Snowbirds go, March can be lovely (mid 70's) with some days very hot (into the 90's). However north, on the Colorado Plateau, there may still be snow.

So while there is no perfect month to see the whole state, March/April and October/November are probably among the best months.

Buying and Storing an RV
by: Marianne (moderator)

In response to annonymous,
If you are hesitant about pulling the travel trailer down to Arizona, perhaps that's a good reason to buy there. Are you buying new? If so, it may not make much difference where you buy it, and you can save the gas of pulling it to it's destination.

Otherwise, and presuming you have the right vehicle to tow it, I would buy where ever you can find the trailer you want for the price you want to pay, whether thats in Missouri, Arizona, or anywhere else, for that matter.

buyin a trailer
by: Anonymous

My husband and I want to buy a 20 - 22 ft travel trailer and store in AZ. Is it best to buy one out there or here in MO and drive it out there and leave it? We are totally new at this. We only want to use it while we're out there so we don't want to bring it back and forth.
