Bottle Shower

Get 1 or 2 pop bottles (2 ltre.) In the daytime (when the sun is shining) lay these on the dashboard of your camper. To make a shower head, use an extra bottle cap and punch some holes into it. This a great shower for boondockers in a remote area.

P.S. We have been boondocking for 20 years, mainly through the U.S., Mexico mainland, Baja and Alaska.

Clever & recyclable

Well that's a thoughtful recycling use for the plastic bottles.

How do you recommend to make the holes in the cap?

Would painting them black make them heat the water more quickly?

Bottle Shower
by: Bud Corwin

Hi Claus,
Your idea on the bottle shower sounds great. And it is so easy to do.
Congradulations on boondocking for the past 20 years. My wife and I have been fulltime RVer's since 2003.
We do a little boondocking, but not as much as some folks do.
Keep up with good posts, and happy camping.
Bud Corwin
