How to Save your Campsite

Q.I plan on boondocking for about three months this summer and am wondering how you save your site when you drive off in your van. I also have a class B but have always stayed at campgrounds.

Marianne's Reply: We don't. We just count on it being there when we get back or take our chances on finding another. Has never been a real problem. When it's free, you can't have everything, I guess.

Some people leave behind a chair or they post a sign of some sort but, sometimes while we're out, we actually come across something better and want the spontaneity of not having to come back. It's one of the benefits of a Class B - having everything with you all the time.
