Canadian RV

We are US residents and I bought a Canadian made Taylor Coach travel trailer from a private party in Canada. The MFG, Taylor Coach, provided me with necessary compliance letter. At the border US customs filled out paperwork in order for me to register it in the US.No problems.

buying RV in Canada and bring to USA

We are Canadians living in the USA and we recently bought an RV in Alberta and brought it back to WA state. There is no duty, but you have to prove that it meets USA standards. If it is not stamped on the trailer you will have to get a letter from the manufacturer that it does meet the standards. Very easy process. Ours was a 2016 Keystone and it was stamped right on the trailer that it met the standards. You will just need to fill out a short form at the border.

Being Canadian, we haven't looked into this. But maybe someone who has will comment to help.
You might also try asking about it at http://www.irv2.com/forums/ (a free forum with lots of RVers contributing answers).
Good luck.
