How are the potato's that you buy at the local market?

Interesting. We bought ours at the local feria (farmer's market). That and the type of potato may be the difference. But we've had some in restaurants that were fine too.
There is, on the whole, quite a difference in many foods. But that's okay. Why should the whole world have to cater to North American tastes?

The reason I asked this question is my niece and nephew were ministering a church in Costa Rica, Beach Community Church, and their main complaint was the potatos were so different than the ones in the States. Not good at all.
