I haven't had a chance to look through the site very much yet but it looks very good - full of information that we should know. We do pay half-price at many federal campsites (which we are thankful for) but we have bypassed other areas because of the ridiculous fees such as the ones in parts of Washington State where there's a charge just to pull into an overlook to see the view.

We're in Colorado now and have camped in some of the national forest campgrounds that are managed by concessionaires. They're in horrible condition and higher priced than the forest campgrounds in other states.
