Halfway House Bar and Grill free campsite

I am co-owner of Halfway House Bar & Grill on Bull Lake in Troy, Montana (northwestern corner). We have free camping available, both RV and tent, and wanted to let people know about us.

We have acres of beautiful wooded/grassy camping spots and camping is available all year (of course summer is when we are the busiest). There is no fee, all we ask is that whoever camps checks in with us so we know they are back there. During the summer we have a sign up, but right now the sign is down because not too many people camping.

FREE camping seems to be right up this website's alley, as it says "frugal camping". Thank you!

I'll say, that the Troy area has got to be one of the best recreation areas in the states. We lived for a year in Libby. You can't beat fishing, hiking, mushrooms, huckleberries, or scenery. Cool nights, moderate days. Never saw a snake. By the way, we are in our 80s, don't RV anymore, live in Texas, and don't work for the Libby or Troy Chamber of Commerce. All that I can say is enjoy.
