Will Fees Hinder Retirees?

We're counting on free camping to be able to travel during our retirement. Free campgrounds that are now charging fees causes me great concern, as well as others I'm sure, that are or will be, on a limited, fixed income. Paying fees will definitely limit our experience. Not accepting discount passes only compounds the issue.

Being a US citizen, I'm free to ask: what is our government going to take away from us next? Brings to mind the saying "Land of the free" which it isn't any longer.
